Bristol free party shut down by police after revellers found toppling statues

A Bristol free party was shut down by police after revellers were found toppling statues. The party was being held in a public park and was advertised as a “bring your own statue” event. Police were called to the park after reports of people toppling statues. When they arrived, they found a group of people laughing and taking photos of the toppled statues. The partygoers were given a warning and told to leave the park. This is not the first time that the Bristol free party has been shut down by police. In 2017, a party was shut down after revellers were found setting fire to a statue of Winston Churchill.
